Fountain Gardens form a small but historically important formal urban park in the centre of Paisley. A grand central cast iron fountain and a statue of Robert Burns are key elements within the park, supported by Historic Scotland as a priority of restoration. Soltys Brewster undertook historic research, public consultation, liaised with HLF and Historic Scotland and prepared all the required documentation for Renfrewshire Council to make a successful Stage 1 bid for funding to the HLF.
